Awww - assume one is a new aquisition?  (Sorry I'm a newbie so treat me gently!!)  We had the same when we got our two rescue kittens - our Birman Toby used to go on top of our kitchen units to get out of the way and growl down at these two tiny dots - they are good friends now though 4 months down the line  ;)

Just thought i'd update you on how Flora has settled in.

She is very loving & come for cuddles n catnaps on our knee (still get the odd bite, but thats our Flora, typical female as Mick would say LOL)

And she seems to have a partner in crime.
Grabbed phone to get them together (a bit blurry but had to be quick to catch them.
They both know i cant reach them ..... so i have to shake treats to get them down!!

and just got this pic before, they are gettin closer to each other, last night they were lay close to each other,
this is where they are now
