Sorry peeps, just been taking in a mum and 4, 2 week old kits and 2 un-neutered abandonded cats so been juggling spaces round!
I got this update from G who is our trapper and actually rescued Noah (there's a bit of a back story too)
He was a stray on an estate in Bramley, and had been around for a number of months. His health had deteriorated over time, as his condition developed. He was an un-neutered male, who had obviously been unloved for some time. Noah had developed a condition which made the pads on his front paws swell and explode, therefore exposing raw flesh and leaking with blood and infection. Noah must have been in severe pain, as he carried on his life as a stray, frightened by people and being chased from pillar to post. He had continued with attempts to groom himself and had covered his once white fur in blood and fluids. Noah finally settled in a ladys bin cuboard, and began to be fed regularly by the lady, who phoned us, after being unable to access help from an animal charity ( The RSPCA, but we had better not print that incase we get into trouble!) After catching him, he was seen by the vet, and he has turned out to be a friendly chap, and is receiving treatment and lots of TLC. Noah has now been neutered, and after an initial bath is looking much better!
I have seen Noah today, his fur is still yellow, and his pads are still swollen but the infection has dried up. He is such a loving, friendly chap, who loves his food, and lots of attention. Noah has a treatable condition, which with a kind owner should be maintained long term.
