The very lovely Charlie has just gone to his new home  and I`ve just finished scrubbing out his Pen for 2 more little ones who are currently winging their way here.

Thats 1 out and 4 in since Monday   :-:

Good news about Charlie.  Will you be starting a thread about your new little lodgers, Teresa?

Seven days from flea-ridden misery to landing a new home.  Is this a record?  ;)

Not sure Christine, but his new owners shared something in common with me ,their last cat a tabby who died of old age was called Buster.

Sounds like the right home for this little one  :wow:

Charlie fell in love with his human visitors who were totally smitten with him; so all being well he will be going to his new home next Thursday.

He`s doing fine thanks Sue, hes soon become a confident, cheeky chappie.

That was quick, even by Paws Inn's standards  :wow:  Good to hear that Charlie's put his troubles behind him.

Well, little Charlie may have been the innocent victim of a rare old 'pass the parcel' but at least he's ended up in the right place.  He's lovely and I hope that, being so young, he quickly gets over the traumas.

Business as usual at the Inn, then?

Our Friday 13th boy
« Reply #1 on: February 15, 2009, 09:50:39 AM »
Friday was a horrendous day with calls to help 12 cats and then the 13th one was dumped here by an obnoxious woman who had been given my address by another rescue.
The poor boy arrived in a broken soggy carrier and was traumatised and flea ridden. He has spent from Friday till now hiding under his bed or behind the litter tray, this morning he decided we arent such bad folks after all and as I was stroking him the purring began and then he was all over me. He is only 6-7 months old.  Must get him in for neutering asap.
We have called him Charlie one of the names from the Auction list.
