Can see how little he has been eating cos of what is not being left in his tray but must get him back on lacto B before what he does leave is not bad again.

Yes and hope you are right Christine  :thanks:

Franta just doesnt seem quite right and cant put my finger on it, just hope that I am wrong and its him being super-independent......sigh

It could well be that he is still recuperating, which is quite hard work for the system

I think he ate a bit overnight.......sigh of relief.

Thats good to hear....Its worrying when they have an off day shortly after a bout of illness, your mind automatically goes back to how he and you were feeling at that time!

Glad your feeling brighter about him today! Good man Franta!  :wow:

He has popped out in the garden today for a while to look for some grass to his liking, not sure he found any though  :-:

Thing is we all know our own cats and if they are not being their usual little loves or usual pains in the butt then we panic.

Maybe it's just him calming down after so much going on and the weather and dark nights could have something to do with it too.

Thanks both and I hope he resumes his eating again very quickly cos just littlle things are worrying me about him, but I am super sensitive cos all of this began after a period of not eating and of course poor Bilbo weighs heavily on my mind.

Franta just doesnt seem quite right and cant put my finger on it, just hope that I am wrong and its him being super-independent......sigh

Thank you

I had some decent sleep last night and Franta slept well too  ;D

Have found some cat food from when I was buying everything to try and get him to eat at the beginning of the year and was for Ducha this time who thought it really nice and then looks like Franta has decided he likes it too! It was all gone this morning  :shify:

Am now gonna have to go and try and search some out! Cos only had one tin grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Although extremly expensive it would be better for them cos its a pate and therefore no chunks to avoid  ;D

thanks Kirst....thats a relief  ;D

Thanks all, have just been asleep for about 3hrs in the greenhouse and when I came in frozen , there he was on the highest platform of the catree, I swear he was trying to see if the car was there!!  Or was it he had been lyin in the sun.  :shify:

Yes he is making up for lost time and he is on a roll and knows I will roll out of bed if he shouts enough or he lies against my face staring!

If I could just get to sleep maybe I wouldnt hear him.......I feel guilty for saying these things cos I am so grateful he is still with me  :-[

Oh its definitely a Birman thing Gill , and you have my deepest sympathy! When Beavis is on a roll I often end up carrying him around like a fractious baby to shut him up! :tired:

Don't worry about the howling for no particular reason too much - that too is a Birman quirk! :evillaugh:

Good grief Gill.  He's incredibly active for his age isn't he.

You're already a bit of a night owl but agree I think Franta's trying to get you to go the complete distance.  You must be exhausted

Sorry no advice to give.  If I had, I'd be doing something about Millie's duvet tunnelling in wee hours and Freddie's head butting.  At least Noni picks on OH with her dribbling not me  ;)

They are people cats and want attention attention, or they are good at complaining and my two shout at the top of their vouces which I dont know if its a birman trait or something they learned where they used to live and were shut in a garage.

I am exhausted right now and can still hear the shouting cos its like imprinted in my head......sigh

Not much sleep, Franta has spent all night shouting and if anyone knows how loud birmans can shout,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sigh

He was on bed , off bed, then playing chase with sound effects with his bro.

On window sill off window sill and shouting at the world outside.

Then he wanted a new litter tray and food and more food......I am a wreck!

Now he is asleep upstairs  along with his bro who I kept awake cos was shuffling around all night.
