Yes I do think he is very tired and thetrip around the garden yesterday also shattered him but he loved it.

He has just meowed and eaten some jelly and looked like he was heading back to his hiding place.

However out of 4 cats he was the only one who either smelt or heard a little black visitor, I didnt either but Franta went timidly too investigate......well he followed me and someone went out of the cat flap before we had rounded the study door. It was the little black cat cos saw him walking up the garden......have feeeling cos of where Franta was sniffing he has been on the blanket under the radiator in the utility room.

Yes I am shattered too and so restless, this afternoon just couldnt do anything but couldnt settle either, I suspect that my subconcious is still very very worried.

Also the abs maybe taking a lot out of Franta cos they are very powerful.

I am just wishing so hard that he is gonna be OK.

It might just all be catching up with him. Coming home was what he wanted and he was excited about it and making the most of it but now he's exhausted. You're right to keep a close eye on him of course but do try not to worry too much - you must be pretty exhausted yourself and probably just want a quiet day or two so you can sympathise with how he feels

yes, maybe a mixture of just feeling he can relax now and probably tired after all the recent turmoil

has been on my lap for ages and is now cat napping on the desk being stroked.

I thought his little head was trembling earlier and do hope this is not a down turn.

I watching him like a hawk and if worried any more will ring the vet.

usuaalyy the noisier and more active and cheeky he is the batter he is.

It was one little cough ! They dont like coughing and can only think its linked to when they were living with dogs and they think its a dog, which they hate.

Korky spent quite a bit of time under the bed when he was recovering so I wouldn't worry about that. Glad he is continuing to improve

Well 3c days into the injections, so only 4 more to go

Franta still seems to be Ok and also seems to ne getting a little more cheeky although still prefers his dark little hidey hole behind the curtain.

Went to bed later last night and fed him before and only got woken up once, but made a right mess with the bloomin food.

I had taken two pouches and two dishes up and one lot was used when I went to bed which wasnt planned and then after being woke up puit half a pouch in a dish and tried to put it on the flooron his mat and it slipped somehow and fell.............oh yes it managed to flip right over and deposit all the contents on the mat and then just lay itself on top upside down covering them...........sigh. Do I need this at 0330 !

Before that Franta had come and lay on the bed against me and dozed off which was lovely till Ducha popped up on the otherside........getting a bit warm and rather cramped, then I coughed and both of them flew off the bed to save their lives, cos they dont like me coughing!

Franta came downstairs all by himself this morning for some food...........more food, rather than sitting on the stairs shouting for it.

The weather WAS quite nice and thought if I went outside where Misa and Sasa were he may follow but not.

I think yesterdays stroll in the garden made him very tired.

Another one od these is called for I think

Sounds like he's doing great

He's probably still feeling under the weather, not to mention confused and

off with things, but no more fits is great and it sounds like he's slowly getting back to his old self.

I had a favourite vet I used for years with the foster cats and mine. Then he moved from that practice and opened his own - so Im afraid I followed him - but I did feel guilty leaving the original practice as they were lovely people, too.

Just had a lovely call from Rachel, Frantas ex vet, to see how he is doing ands also to tell me she is sending some blood results through St Js for him and he is only borderline anaemic and not got a thyroid problem.

I think that is so kind of her.

Im really glad to hear that things are going well with Franta and hope they continue to improve,as for the yowling and lack of confidence i think its just a matter of time before he regains that, once he knows that hes notgoing anywhere he will soon come round, he just needs his miaowmy to reassure him that hes home

Ducha will have nothing to do with him sadly and I think yesterday Franta wanted to be friends with Ducha

Today I am hoping I havent committed a terrible mistake cos its been lovely outside and after one of Frantas shouting spells I opened the back door to see if he would go out. We have walked up and down the garden slowly twice, he has been in the greenhouse till banging on the door to be let out. He has followed Sasas scent all over the garden and here is the prob.................has found the place where Sasa was leaning over the wall cos there is no dog any more grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

This is a huge worry and after coming indoors he nipped out the cat flap again and we went for another walk and we stayed out until he decided to come in. I made him come back in thro the flap.....well I held it open for him cos I wanted to be sure he remembered that he can come in that way.

Its the furthest he has walked for a long time cos of the snow and then being ill and hope that on one side it has helped him cos he loved how everything smelt and now he has a reason to snooze cos he has had some activity.

I left him lying on my bed after he had eaten, hungry work walking the garden

so I think another of these is appropriate

Sleep grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, he woke me up twice or was it three times in the night and the first was bad for me cos I reckon he had been shouting for a while and I was so totally zonked I had probs getting up.

He seems to want food about every 3 hrs even if there is food already out, he wants new and something different!

We had a long period last night where he stayed in his hiding place and wish that had been during the night.

We have had two lots of food this morning and abs injection, was harder today cos he was on the bed and had to get him out from his hiding place cos its too darkl there.

I went up to see him a while ago and he was not asleep just lying there and like yesterdau he meows when you open his little curtain so shut it quick

But then he came out and came downstairs meowing and thats when he got the second lot of food. He went to the cat flap and decided no that was not for him and is now back upstairs hiding.

I wanted to go out and get cat litter but have lost the window and the shop will be closed so all being well will go this afternoon.

He hasnt changed since yesterday and seems to have lost his condifdence,,,,,,not surprising.......but its almost like he is having a problem making little decisions for himself.

He has just been hissed at big time by Misa and dont know what brought that on cos they had been getting on quite well since Franta came home.

Anyway keeping fingers crossed that things are going well still.

keep checking in on this thread when I get a chance Gill and am so thrilled for you and Franta that he is home and seems to be doing so well.

Long long may it continue and hope that he is back to his old self and you can rest a bit easier
