Sorry to hear this Gill

On the probiotic front I recently found a much better value probiotic - Blooming Pets probiotics - it's a 350g tub (so nearly 5 x the 75g that Lacto-B is), the cheapest place to get it from is a business/power seller on ebay for £12 delivered.

I was on my way to bed and walked out onto landing and Franta had just started having a seizure. Rushed to get a pillow to stop me getting ripped to shreds, it wasnt a really really bad one but he wet everywhere.

I then decided that I would shut him in bedroom with me and Ducha cos didnt wnt him faslling down stairs or off the cat tree downstairs or tye window sill but only pulled the door too cos its heavy.

Then spent the next 2-3 hours in /out of bed cos Misa just pushes the door open and in end I must have dozed off but woke up to see door open by a Franta sized gap and he wasnt up stairs. Found him behind curtains on front rooms window sill.

Rook me ages but persuaded him to come back up stairs and then blocked off stairs  so he could roam bedroom and bathroom but he didnt want that and he spent rest of night howling.

Left for vets about 0830 to get his meds, back just before 1100. Some one had wet my bed in about 4 places.......sigh

Gave him first jab and it went so well  :scared:  tthen found the pile of liquid undernerath him and it had gone straight through grrrrrrrrrrrrr. One of my two spares gone! So then  had to try again and success. Having a real problem getting the cover off the needle.

Both birmans have dicky tummies.......heat?? but now need to order lacto B cos mine is out of date and marbocyl hits the tummy badly.

As far as I can tell no further seizures and am keeping fingers crossed cos was worried that he was working himself up into such a state that he may bring one on.

He is hiding in the smallest place possible in the bedroom and hope he comes out soon. Have covered the bed in puppy pads cos both are making such a bloomin mess.

Please keep fingers crossed for him and that he doesnt have anymore seizures this time.

This came right out of the blue although he had been very restless and shouty for ages, after he recovered from the seizure which takes about an hour plus, he was very much his usual norty self, which isnt the case normally.

Thanks Sue

It is very hard to maintain a balance and Misa will lash out occasionally at Franta and hiss but more in a warning sorta way I think, however when he wants to move Franta off the bed he just tries to lie on him which I stop and them Misa gets cross at me.

I do worry about my big boy cos he is a sensitive soul. Sasa saw Pussy again from one side of kitchen and Pussy was like transfixed,,,,,,,,,,,,with awe! or what lol

Ducha hasnt met or seen Pussy yet but he was the violent one when he first arrived but is too ill at the moment.

All joking apart Gill, I echo what Tab says - for all our good natured ribbing, you should only do what you feel comfortable with, and what you think the Gang of Four will be comfortable with.

When we got Flynn, Paddy was devastated.  Totally put out.  Barely tolerated Flynn and spent more and more time away from the house.  That was sad, because Flynn adored Paddy.  He was his Hero.  He loved him and wanted to be with him whenever he could.   There were times when some mutual grooming took place, but it was always in a grumpy state of grace for Paddy, and when we lost Flynn, Paddy became much more settled.  That's the prime reason we never acquired another cat.

Having said that, your Gang of Four don't always see eye to eye, and yet they all share the house and garden without too much angst.

Either way, the decision must be yours.  But I doubt we'll stop teasing you gently.      :evillaugh:

Nice that you've thought about a boy name too - he/she looks like she/he has a new home and is gonna have to get used to your fab 4.

Dont even GO there

I went to see a friend today who adopted a cat last year to find a 'friend' had given her a photo of a free to good home...... I didnt even look!!!

If Im honest I do miss having 2 cats but I have to be sensible and know that financially for me and emotionally for Amber its not sensible. I just wish it was.

I hope you find a purrfect solution without feeling bullied into something thats not right for you and your furries. I might call her Rosie cos I like the name not because I think youve homed her if that makes sense?

love

SHE IS NOT ROSIE

Ducha is going to vets tomorrow for a convenia jab and Pussy going too....................I am dreading this cos Pussy gets very upset.

Will also be picking up Frantas emergency meds...........he is far too quiet and just hope he is through the cat flu type stuff.

But of course Pussy I am sure has been noticed by him althoughhe totally ignored her, she was very upset again and takes it out on me for ages after.................well till she is hungry again LOL

Noooooooooooooooo Noooooooooooo Nooooooooooooooo she is not Rosie, she is Pussy, now just behave all you Rosie lovers

She has filled up the hole in her tummy and last night couldnt quite finish her dinner and breakfast has been esaten except for two mini pieces.......that would not have happened this time yesterday.

I cant get her to vets today cos have been struck down over night with a sinus infection and am waiting for abs to be delivered.

Ducha has taken a turn for the worse over night and he now needs to go to the vets asap.

This is not a good Christmas and still need to get Frantas meds, pass that vets on way to other!

Bear in mind that size isnt' always a good judge of age.  If she's got maine coon in her she may be big for her age, but equally some slow maturing breeds grow more slowly - Mosi was smaller at 14 weeks than Jaffa was at 8 weeks!

Moley hasnt frozen, there are now 3 new molehills coming out of the snow grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I think that Pussy maybe will have tufts at top of ears cos looks like they are just starting to grow, surely she is not a pedigree.

I think she is very young and just had another go at suckiling.

Come on blooming courier!
