Thank you both.

I managed to get him just after he woke up and the last jab now given, thank goodness  ;D

But now the waiting game to see if he is Ok now they have finished, he seems to be Ok between jabs and has been to the bottom of the garden today investigationg.

He was very shouty last night and not sure if I fell asleep cos he went quiet or what. Ducha wasnt helping cos he was chasing Franta or was it the other way round!

A nice quiet night would be lovely  ;D

He wasnt!

The kicking wriggling , biting monster and hope I got about half the stuff in him and the rest in his fur! So tried another hald from the spares and hope that went in but am not sure!

I managed to stab myself and my blood even got on Franta and that was before I had stabbed him......sigh

Had 2 hrs of birman howling this morning from 0600. now I am not good at 0600 and when Franta is shouting I am even less good!

Kast jab tomorrow thank good ness!

Franta sounds like my cat Daisy Doo Doo,  she is the most mild mannered cat in the world,  would never hurt anyone,  but go near her with Frontline,  Drontal or anything remotely medical and she will have your hand off,  Daisy is always the one we spend literally hours chasing round the kitchen to get anywhere near her to treat her.  I do feel for you Gill becuase it normally takes two of us to even put frontline on her,  I cant imagine having to give her an injection on my own,  I am sure I would be shredded

Anyway,  good luck for today,  Franta be a good boy for Mummy

Well I managed it eventually............sigh but can now see an inflamed scratch on my arm and I had to finish trying to get the stuff into him with him rockin and rolling and hanging onto my wrist with his teeth!

He is so naughty but only two more to go.

It wouldnt be so bad but I dont think it hurts him.

I love him naughty too but dont like him biting me LOL......he has been very quiet and studying me since he got home........wonder what he is working out now

I hope that the next 3 jabs go well cos it costs a fortune in petrol to get it done at the vet!

Oh he will be working out exactly how to get you back,  you will be fast asleep and you will be jumped on from a great height,  they dont let you get away with it,  well my lot dont anyway.   You should see what he is planning on the 'cats mouth' forum

I would say he sounds like he is on the mend,  funny think is you must be glad he is being naughty as it shows some spirit and means he is feeling better.

Thank you Teresa

I agree and think he feels better without the abs but need to make sure that all the infection is gone from his little brain, so although today was to have been the last jab , there are now another 3 because it took them so long to kick in this time.

Well Franta has been a very naughty boy this morning and have just come back from the vets where I had to take him for his injection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After his naughtiness yesterday, he would not let me give him an injection today and was wriggling and squirming on his back and if I went near it I was kicked , scratched and even bitten. He made so many lounges at me with his teeth and caught me too.

In the end I phoned up the vet and they said bring him in and a nurse will do it......of course once in his carrier....that was a fight too.........he was an angel and not a peep out of him all the way there. Getting him out of the carrier was another fight!

He shouted at me on the way home but is quiet now but he woke me up at 0630 again and proceeded to howl for 2 hours and huss he must have stopped cos I then fell asleep until the alarm went off.

he has also learnt how to lie so his skin is styretched tight and I cant get hold of anything but fur......I think its been harder this time cos he has all his fur which he didnt have last time............sigh

Only 3 ........................THREE!!!!!!!!!..................more injections to go grrrrrrrrrrrrr
