I feel devastated!
My sister-in-law called to see me which doesn't happen very often & it's so obvious she is not an animal lover.
2 of my 6 went to say hello but she ignored them. They wouldn't give up & still wanted a hello so began gently rubbing up against her leg & handbag. She shouted 'Oi what are you doing' & moved her bag. Think she was in fear of her bag being torn to shreds... as if... I felt sorry for them, but I'm very soft.
When she was going she told me to get rid of the cats & get a life!
I am incredibly hurt! THEY ARE MY LIFE! It was like saying get rid of your children to me.
I live alone & sometimes do not see or speak to anyone for days (due to chronic illness) & my babes mean the world to me.
Do any of you face cat discrimination with friends or family?
