Aww thanks guys. He is scrumptious - I have never actually seen a mainly white and tabby before! Little snow leopard.
i assume that you will now be calling him Al then  :shify: :shify:
He he - you'd think a nickname would be shorted than the actual name. I call him ''El Capoterooney''. But that's just me  :shify:

I just love his eyes, so unusual.
That's because he is a husky wolf bear cat  ;) Not just 'a standard cat'.  :)  :shify:

Capone is a fab name.

I wouldn't worry too much about his teeth, i've known completely toothless cats and dogs carry on eating dry food. ;)

My too are toothless and after they were removed the vet said they could eat biscuits because their gums harden but they do prefer soft, Byron has just 2 teeth, which couldn't be removed and she occasionally has a biscuit

my feral foster, Mabel, is missing about 7 teeth and is eating dry food fine

unless he stops eating the dry there should be no issues and as long as it *it* dry it will clean his other teeth and help keep them healthy

He he! Nope...

...... READY FOR IT?

CAPONE

We are calling him Husky Bear-Wolf Capone. But his main name is Capone. It's a name that suits him like a glove!  ;D

Oh, and does anyone have any advise about a toothless cat? He is missing his upper fang and the fang below is only half! He seems fine though and eats his dry food - so I guess he's fine. Maybe I should mix his dry food with the wet so it's easier to chew?

He had tuna today which he LOVED!  :Luv2:

I think we've got a name  ;) Will try it out during the day and let you know if it's right!!

BY THE WAY

I just noticed that Bugaboo has 1 upper fang missing! And the bottom one (on same side; right hand side) is split in half. What should I know about this, health & feeding-wise?!

Bugaboo  :sneaky: is that it?  ;D

Just catching up with things and I have to say Buster is gorgeous  :Luv2: He has certainly fallen on his paws coming to live with you, and he obviously knows it  ;D On the noise thing I wouldn't worry as folks have said. Dylan is pretty much bomb proof but even though I've had Hobbes since he was 12 weeks old and he's only ever lived with me in my current house he spooks at all sorts of noises. While I've had my cold and been coughing and sneezing he has regularly shot away to hide every time I do it . He hates the hoover and always hides away from it and is currently regulary spooked by the fact that since I had my new windows in and there is no curtain at the hall window he can see the stairs reflected in it at night

Couple more for you: Shanti (Coyote) and Khan (Coyote)

Although I do love Buster Bugaboo Bugsy Malone. ;)

I like the original too, it's like we all know him as Buster and the added bit was your first thoughts and I think they fit perfect, but that's just my opinion.

Ah bless.  I love kitties who sleep with their tongues out.  Korky nearly always has his tongue out (asleep or awake).

He does have a definite look of a husky doesn't he - I think the dark smudges on either side of his nose contribute  that.  Why not just take the easy way out and call him Husky?

Aww, he's so cute!  :Luv:

The sound may have just been one of those noises that freaks them out.  Some noises are just like that.  My 2 can ignore a whole variety of sounds going on outside but sometimes a seeming inocuous sound freaks them out and has them running for the bed or growling.  I would let him settle in a bit more before using it near him if possible.

Regarding names - from your list I like Eskimo, Nelson and Chai  ;D

But have a look at this.... how cute is he? Notice he sleeps with his tongue sticking out. He just looks so much like a Husky it's unbelievable.
He is currently fast asleep dreaming - randomly twitching in his sleep. Bless, he looks SO comfy where he is it's really hard not to go up and kiss him every 2 seconds  :Luv:

I like Napoleon! Dear little soul- I'm so glad it's worked out so well. I'm so enjoying this thread.

It's funny how there are sounds and objects they don't like. Our boy is terrified of one particular cushion- it's fine when it's in situ but he runs a mile if we move it.  We've no idea why but he was a rescue cat so presumably it reminds him of something nasty from the past. He also hates the electric carver though he's fine with the food mixer, washing machine, etc.
