It is, but if he has kidney or liver issues, the GA could make them worse - and if we test him now, they could be high purely due to the steroids, which might prevent the vet doing a dental, and we would have to re-test in a month or so, which from the charities point of view isn't good. We aren't sure what is causing the ulceration - it could be the bad teeth, it could be the steroid jab, or it could be kidney issues. He is currently taking his Antirobe in his cat milk, he is dead chuffed to get 2 lots a day!! He had lots of chicken yesterday (only the poorly ones liked it, so they had a breast each!!), plus some food in gravy and some biscuits, so I am confident he is getting enough food.
