There's this topic,

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,18329.0.html

Which might be of use.

Definitely worth giving Emma a ring/email as she works in a vets so even if the ones linked to have found their forever home I would imagine she has a never ending stream of cats looking for a home.

What part of the north east are you in?

There are a few rescue folk on here who I'm sure can help you in your search!

Thanks i hope i won't have too much trouble after a bad experience with a very negative CP in my area.

I forgot to mention on my post, i don't have any other pets or children.

Hi Kirsty - sounds like you won't have any trouble at all, especially if you aren't after kittens - welcome by the way!!

Hi,

I'm currently looking to adopt a cat or 2 cats that are already used to each other after Xmas. I live near a busy road so they would ideally have to be indoor cats but they could have use of the back garden if they don't stray too far.

I work full time so they'd have to be used to being alone during the day.

I'm not really concerned about the age of them altho i'd like a cat not a kitten & I have had experience of having a cat before.
