Here's a list of the cats we currently have at our Scarcliffe shelter. Please note we will not rehome cats and kittens as Christmas presents and we will not home immediately prior to Christmas until the new year.
Right, I'll start will two adorable ginger boys, Stan and Oliver. These two didn't come in together but have become good friends. They are around the same age and can be homed together or individually. Stanley is the one with white bits. They are about 6months old and very very friendly. Here they are!
Next we have some four monthish olds. These have been with an angelic fosterer who has handled and nurtured them until they have become the most loving, bouncy young cats. The two black ones are called Malcom and Reece. It would be nice if these two could stay together. The black and white one is called Sylvester and the naughty tortie is called Rosie. We have a tabby stray of a similar age who has been welcomed into the brood. He is still waiting to be claimed as a missing cat but will soon be available for rehoming. We've called him Danny. Here they are:
Ok next up we have Muffin, another mistreated persian. Remember Malcom and Tilly? Well Muffin was siezed from the same house. She had been avoiding her rescuers but has now been brought in. She was malnourished, anaemic, riddled with every nasty imaginable and in a very poor state. She is now well on the way to recovery but needs an experienced, loving home. As always I'm nagging oh but he ain't budging! The picture quality's a bit ropy but we didn't want to stress her out:
Our next cat is Baz. Baz was loved and well cared for until his elderly owner sadly passed away. He was being cared for by a friend for as long as possible but is now with us looking for a loving home. He is 5-6 years old and very friendly. He's probably get along with other cats too. Here he is:
Mona is another cat waiting to be claimed. She will be ready for homing after a week and a very expensive dental! If you want a very chatty friend who talks a lot, Mona is the girl for you. She would be best suited to a home where there's someone around for most of the day to keep her company. Again the picture isn't brilliant but she was very interested in the camera!
Solo is a stray who's about 2-3 years old. We don't know much about him but he is another friendly cat who needs a loving lap to snooze on!
Maggie is our latest mum. Her bundles are now six weeks old. Three of them are still available to be reserved and once they've all gone to their new homes Maggie will be after a home too. She's only young, has been a great mum and deserves to be loved in a wonderful home. Here she is:
and here are her babies....
