Hello,
I was a quite member of CC, but read through most days.
I am in Lancashire and have 3 cats
Tiggi - A silver tabby, female aged 9
Dandee - A black and white male aged between 9 & 11
Rosie - A black and white female aged approx 18mths

Tiggi we got as a kitten, the other 2 from rescue hence the approx ages.

All 3 spoilt rotten, aren't they all.

Also have 2 dog, both rescue

Hallo ?;)

I`m Jana, I posted on Cat Chat from time to time. ?I currently have two kitties

Mollikat (tabby and white) also known as "pussy cat little, pussy cat small" a shy, skittish rescue cat who is frightened of most things particulalry moths, leaves, socks and any sudden movement. ?

Baby Daisy (black and white) a 6 month kitten, also rescue, who, unlike Mollikat, is quite bold, fearless and gradually taking over the house.

Previoulsy (now bridge babies) I had

Henry Pudding a ginger and white, my first rescue who was in my life for 12 years and died aged approx 18/20. ?

Tasha also known as Knackered Old Cat, she was only with me for 1 1/2 years, an elderly rescue ginger who died this summer of kidney failure.

From Henry and Tashsa I acquired a now deep seated fixation with gingers - my favourate of all kitties.

I have a voluntary job with a local cat sheleter - going there is the highlight of my week, so much more rewarding than my full time waged job.

I will miss Cat Chat and would like to take this opporutnity to thank all those involved with it for giving us something so important and so vital. ?I hope you will feel able to return to us.

Hi Everyone,

Just thought i'd re-introduce me and my two girls.

Nina (white and black) is about 4 (well somewhere between 2 and 6 anyway!), she has run our household for the last 6 months and she is my little diva.

Kiki (black and white) is about 1 years old and she chose us about 2 months ago. It has been a hard 2 months but worth every minute. She arrived a timid, frightened young mum and is now a bolshy, cheeky teenager!

Can't remember a time when weren't owned ny kitty cats now... and wouldn't have it any other way  :-*

Hello everyone
Katherine and Crunchie here!
Found our way here from catchat which we will miss very much but hope that all the helpful friendly people will still be around to talk to in their various temporary homes.
We are in Chester.
Crunchie is a semi long hair furball! She is ginger, black and white and purrs most of the time. She likes sleeping and eating and chasing balls, her mummy likes sleeping and eating too but cant do enough because she has to go out to work to earn money for felix!

Hello!

I joined catchat recently after my cat Josie was injured and later on passed away. All the kind words meant a lot to me. Josie looked like a British Shorthair (see avatar) and had the personality of a Ragdoll. She passed away at the age of 5 and is dearly missed.

My new bundle of joy is a 12 weeks old Ragdoll:

About me: I'm originally from The Netherlands but am living with my wife Kate in New York. My wife is a real animal lover: besides the kitten we have a pure white Siberian Husky named Toby, a snake and a 15 gallon fish tank.

Hey y'all,

I'd only just joined over at Cat Chat (and lurked more than I posted) but you've all been so helpful I had to follow you over to these (temporary) forums in case I can return the favour in due course.

Anyway, Afternoon fellow Philofelinists! *waves*

I'm Lizzie. I'm 26 and at UWE in Bristol studying English Language and Linguistics (I was an Intelligence Researcher for the police before this). I joined Cat Chat initially because my Rufus has gone walkabout, however I found there a veritable plethora of information so have wound up visiting at least once a day! (Plus, if Rufus hasn't returned by my 3rd year of uni I'll be looking to adopt through CC now)

Rufus was a year old on 4th September (our first whole day in Bristol). I was there for his birth (with a particularly distressed and nervous barely-adult mum), helped take care of him when his mum's owner had a nervous breakdown and could not look after herself, let alone her babies, and had the chance to adopt him when the buyer his mum's owner had lined up fell through. It's funny, really, 'cause I knew his name and how he'd look as a grown up from the moment he was born. When he was snipped and chipped we'd go walkabout together, I taught him how to climb, how to get back down (!), how to hunt... which is a good idea now he's out in the wilds, but I rued it for the time when I was waking up with dead mice on my pillow.

He's particularly adventurous, loving to squeeze into tiny spaces, and so friendly... especially with guys. (Another oddity, despite being neutered he and the tomcat next door used to 'mating call' at each other)

I miss him, and haven't slept unaided since he's been gone. However, no news is good news... there's hope. (My patroness is Freyja and I'm trusting her to either lead him safely home, find him a space with a loving family, or take him into her hall if he's found his way to the Rainbow Bridge.)

This has turned into a bit of an Addicts Anonymous type post, so I'm going to hush up (for now).

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better :D
Rufus went out 26th September at 0400 from Horfield area of Bristol. We'd only been here 3.5 weeks. He may have been 'adopted' by two young kids. He may also have headed back to Bedfordshire. Please keep an eye out for him. He's much missed.

I use Paint Shop Pro for resizing but I think there is also some freebee software about that let's you do the same.  I can't remember what its called but I'm sure someone else will.  In the meantime, you can email me the pics and I will resize them for you.

Hi Nathalie, yes it is easy.  (Even I managed it).  Hit the Reply Button, do your message and then just click on Additional Options.  You can then browse for the image on your Confuser and upload them.
Good luck.

This forum's fabby! BIG vote of thanks to all those who must have been working pretty much all night to get it set up.

We've gained a couple of new messageboards: One for introducing your cats and another one just for transport requests.

Abject horror at (hopefully temporarily) losing CC has turned to thrills with this lovely new playground and as far as I can tell most of the chatters making their way here too.

Tan, I haven't done this before :-) Actually... when I first joined CC in October, I sent unsolicited emails with my boys pictures to Dawn and Gill! Each pic was about 1.6M! I didn't even know how to resize those pictures and Gill thought it was a spam  :P

Really, a big thank you to you and your wonderful hubby!! There are 76 members now! wo ho! errr no, I didn't join by using my 50 spare emails  ;D

Glad we have all found our way over here.
