Sam used to sit on the back of the chair until something nice appeared in your hands, he would then walk across your shoulders, down your arm so he could stick his nose in.  I swopped ands and he slowly made his way back up to your shoulder to appear walking down the other arm, when all that failed he would hide under the coffee table and hook his paw up to see if he could nick anything off the plate.  He did manage it once when the ex wasn't looking and had just cut himself a little piece of steak, Sam enjoyed it very much.  The only evidence was a little black paw appearing over the edge of the table patting its way along until it found the plate.
Oh yes, I did save him a little in the bowl for him to 'nick'.

Beavis has a cunning ploy - If we eat off our laps in the fornt room he lies on the arm of the chair an inches himself onto our arms - rendering us unable to eat so he has free rein! :evillaugh:

aren't they crafty doing that  :evillaugh: our Squeaky once quickly grabbed a chip from my plate and ran off with it

Dinah (she who hates treats, hates cream etc and is total fusspot about food) nicked my porridge a few days ago and was rewarded a few hours later by explosive runs  :shify:
Jameson would attach himself to my bowl of cereal - for the milk. He loved the taste of the cereal flavoured (soy) milk. It was hard not to spill the bowl when it had 5kg of cat hanging off it!

Go Rameses!

I left some yorkshire pudding batter unattended earlier and went back into the kitchen to find Mosi lapping it up  :shify:  I still used what was left.

The lil begger went after my nans ice cream now,I thinks the army needs to start training some manners into these cats :shify:

Chloe (C.A.K.E) just read your post over my shoulder and is sending him some of his own ice-cream on behalf of the Catering Corps!   It might keep him out of trouble.  On the other paw .....

Good grief now I know how come he's so podgy lately,I think I'll have to limit the amount of times he goes to the cat cafeteria, dont ya think? :shify: :shify:

Lol, I did the same thing last night with my tuna and sweetcorn sandwich filling I'd just made. Not content with the face that she'd had the tin to lick, Amber snuck up and tried to pinch the filling out of the bowl when my back was turned putting the tin in the dustbin!!
