Great news  ;D  Now you've found us, why not stick around and join in the auction?

yeah he seems way more cuddly now!

we even advertised in all the nearby shops and trecked around in the cold for hours on end
and he just came straight to our back door looking rather skinny

Hi

Sorry to hear Louis is missing.  Have you been on CPL Newcastle's website.  They have a forum on there which includes a lost and found section.

Hope Louis returns home soon

Hi Laura,

:welcome: to Purrs ... I'm sorry you've found us under these circumstances.

Please check out the advice on what to do here: http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,305.0.html

My main piece of advice is

1. Posters, Posters, Posters with picture and details with contact number.....hand out to neighbours and anyone you see. Put up in local shops, pubs and supermarkets. Stick to all local lamp posts. (If it rains go and collect them and replace however it's best to put posters in plastic wallets so if it rains they don't go all soggy - the neighbours and council don’t mind you putting them up so much that way).  Also put one in your and friends cars - it amazing how many people see them this way. Make smaller flyers and push through every letterbox on your streets and the surrounding area.   It is a good idea to offer a reward … of course this doesn’t have to be money … a box of cho-colates or a bunch of flowers is just as good.

The more posters you have out the more chance there is of getting your furbabe back home.

As he is new to the area he will be scared and will probably be hiding and will hopefully not have gone to far.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

definitely on the Newcastle side of the water?

LOST black and white male NEWCASTLE
« Reply #1 on: November 19, 2008, 20:45:39 PM »
i have lost my cat Louis 4 days ago.  :scared:

He is a black and white male with very distinctive facial markings - a black smudge under his chin and a white mark between his eyes, 4 white feet and has friendly nature. He hadnt been with us long and escaped out the back door. He is being missed terribly and any help would be much appreciated.
I am also offering a £40 reward to whoever finds him  :)

 :thanks:
