Grass and cat litter

I am a chick crumb convert as well. I get mine from my local farmers store, just make sure that it does not have any antibiotics added to it. Dodson and Horrell is the best one as it is antbiotic free. All it is is finely ground corn, just like worlds best. It is used to encourage new chicks to peck.

Oh yeah it is called that sorry. I didnt realise there was other stuff out there that is cheaper! I just find it amazing! With 2 trays for 2 cats it was getting kinda smelly with hte otehr stuff i used. I actually enjoy cleaning out the tray now! Strrangly! Iv never heard of chick crumb. Where do you get it?

Worlds Best Cat Litter is brilliant stuff. There is also something very similar called Cats Best Oko Plus ( http://petfoodwarehouse.co.uk/browse_91) which is also very good and is cheaper than WBCL.

Some dogs will eat grass then be sick, whilst others eat it because they like it. Molly doesn't get called Moo for no reason ... she luuuurves grass and eats more than a cow. She's always munching grass and is never sick afterwards. Unlike Mig the rabbit who wouldn't dream of eating grass

Yep, as Dawn says they do it to aid digestion.  I'm glad you mentioned it as I knew that cats did it but didn't know dogs did.  A friend at work was saying that her dog had sicked up grass and we wondered if dogs did it for the same reasons as cats.

I use chick crumb too, I had a petsitter for my cats in the summer and when I got back she said to me 'Oh, I didn't realise you used Worlds Best cat litter - I didn't flush though as you'd specifically mentioned binning the waste'.  She couldn't believe it when I told her it was chick crumb, which incidentally you can flush and is around £10 for a huge 25kg sack.

Do cats eat grass because of a sore tum, just like dogs do?

Also, and this isnt advertising, but iv discovered thee best cat litter. Its actually called the best cat litter in the world! Does anyone else use it? It clumps the wee together so it doesnt contaminate the rset of the tray. Then you pick it out like you pick out poops.
