Here's a pic of my girls in the snow for the first time ever!!  At first they were a little unsure but then had huge amounts for fun chasing each other around.  They did get a bit confused tho when we threw little snowballs for them and they disappeared

Aw, great pics!

My boy is an indoor cat, but he was looking so bemused at all the white stuff coming out of the sky that I let him have a little pootle around in the front garden before I went to work, and he wasn't amused ....... put one dainty paw into the white stuff, looked at me as if to say 'you didn't warn me it was that cold', then went indoors again with a disdainful look on his face

Poot, adopted 14th August 2009. I'm sure Maxy sent you to me sweetie xx

Hi folks,

Lovely pics. As my cats (maybe that should be their human :)) are all indoor cats they could only watch from the windows but I think they all enjoyed the change of scenery :).

Cheers

Jess doesn't go out but when we picked him up to show him the snow out of the back door he put his paws out to say don't get me too close to that door its cold.

Dear Bilbo

That was very cruel of your mum to tease you like that, only 15mins....................shock horror ..............and you being a forest cat too with all the right equipment for snow.

If I was you I would have a very stern word with her and possitively ignore her for a while, she will soon learn  ;D

Love

Auntie Gill :Luv:

Hello Auntie Gill!

I did what you said and have had a stern word with her and she is now thinking of letting me go to a nice outdoor cat hotel for the weekend if they have room so I can be outside  ;D ;D Mummy said it will make her very sad to be apart from me but if it makes me happy then she will do it. I am soooo happy. YAY! I love having such power over my mummy . Is amazing what complaining enough gets you mwahaha  ;)

Love Bilbo xxx

Love the snow pictures especially Bilbo who knows thats what he was made for  ;D

Hello Auntie Gill,

Thank you for saying you like my photo. My mummy is soooo evil, She is refusing to drive me to a forest (she claims she doesn't know where one is near Leicester) so I can play in the snow in a forest which is my favourite thing to do as I enjoy my forest walks so much more when there is snow. I am so hard done by  :( I have been screaming at her all day 'take me to play in the snow' and all I got was a measly 15mins outside because she was cold, tsk tsk. Stupid humans not having proper winter double coats and snowshoes. Anyone have the number for the RSPCA so I can report my mummy for extreme cruelty for not letting me play in the snow all day?  :mad2:

well Fuzzie I got loads of snow my back garden is still covered in SW Wales!!

Ok we have had rain since midday but I still got snow.........hjowever no pictures, went up to the hills and the batteries in the camera died when I tried take first picture and I had for got to take spare batteries groannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

as for cats in the snow, Sasa did pop out briefly, Ducha went out and rushed straight back in very upset, Misa went out when I came back and put soggy moggy paw prints all over everything and Franta only gfot up about 2 hrs ago. Told hime he missed the snowballs and he would have to go ice skating instead..............but he decided the scruffy fluffy cushion by radiator in the kitchen was better ...................sigh  ;D

Bilbo was driving me mental this morning squealing by the door and windows and bringing me his lead as he absolutely adores snow (figures seeing as he's an NFC lol) so I took him out into the little park near my flat and let him play in the snow. He's still squealing now as he wants to go back outside but fingers crossed when we are home again at the end of March we'll have more snow and he can stay out in his cat run in it.

Bilbo would also like to point out that the pink harness he is wearing is in fact Tigger's harness (no idea where he has put his)

Sorry the photos aren't that great

no snow here in south-west Wales but it is snowing just about everywhere else.
the picture is of our "kitty" who passed on two years since she was completely blind and took everything in her stride, all the others were hiding indoors.

Not got any piccies atm - for a Norwegian forest cat, Charlie is useless - he obviously took one look out of the window and decided not to bother - he's usually wanting to go out as soon as we're up. But we'd been out and built a snowman before he appeared downstairs, he has been out, but back in within 5 minutes!

The new kitten on the other hand is desperate to go out, but I just can't bring myself to let him out yet - he still doesn't come reliable when he's called and don't want him running off in this weather.
