Did a HC earlier for Jake. He has been returned twice already so things weren't looking too great for him. Funnily enough, the lady lives about 10 doors away from Paula who is fostering him. She didn't want to do the HC as she felt she couldn't be impartial. Anyway as soon as I walked through the door, I saw the cat posters, ornaments etc. She showed me a framed photo of her cat that died. It was a case of "sign here"
- she wanted to tell me about her various cats over the years
- she said one of her friends said she was mad for taking on a 12 year old but she said she replied "If people like me won't take them on, who will?" - she stroked the picture of him on the printout and said she loved him as soon as she saw him
She showed me the step she had for her last cat so she wouldn't hurt herself jumping off the kitchen worktop
(Anyone that allows cats on worktops is my kind of person)
