I met my other half while taking my then cat, Gizmo, to the vet!  so I started with an advantage. :briggin:

OH has been using an aeroplane forum for ages and posting stuff on that.  Im not un-interested but it can get a bit tiring on ones eyebrows, feigning interest in a lot of things that I have to admit look all the same to me!

Anyway, since being part of this, he keeps looking over my shoulder and laughing at the posts and asking me what the cats have been writing about. 8)

I mean, hey, a site that cats can post messages on - better than scratch and sniff areas or wee-mail!!

So we are all happy! :Luv:

Nice one, kitties!!

My hubby was all 4 against having cats, but you should see him now - he plays and talks with them all day long.  :Luv2:  :Luv2:  :Luv2: If I haven't been at home, he tells me what they've been up to. Honestly I can't imagine our lives without them.   :Luv2:  Still I get comments for spending too much time online , my answer is :P

cat mad = normal  ;D

I've been in my current job since March and didn't talk much about cats to begin with.  Gradually I let the odd thing slip out and now they all consider my boys to be totally spoiled.  If there's anything cat related lying around they all know that it belongs to me or is something I have left behind.  I can't escape my reputation.

Robin took me and Sweetie and Toerag and Breeze my previous BC as a package deal when he moved in with me.

Neving having been bought up with cats or dogs a bit of a culture shock for him but now he loves the cats all of them and likes the dogs but he is a cat man at heart!

in fact he comes in the kitchen door and greets all the cats room by room then says hello to me and the dogs - causes strange looks from visitors though!

Cat mad and proud of it even Ace and Blue who don't like humans! :sneaky:

At least you met OH before you became a crazy cat lady, how does a young(ish) free and single crazy cat lady meet a man nowadays?! I tried hanging around the cat food aisle in Pets at Home but all I got was strange looks  :evillaugh:

You need a mad cat man, are there none on here???

Or turn them from a "never having a pet before (not even a goldfish), pets smell, need feeding and are a hassle, what's the point" into a "ooh my little Gas-man, you're so cute, oooh look at his cutsie paws, don't know what we'd do without you now" .... just like I've done, ha ha  !!!!!!

To be honest, I think we're all perfectly normal  :evillaugh:

i did exactly the same thing when TC was going mental at 3am - told hubby it was cos he was "trayning" for Charlies Army. he was like what are you on about??

the other day he was complaining to my friend and her hubby that the cats get fed first and all the attention, i laughed very hard when my friend turned round and said to him "your point is....!!!" He was expecting sympathy but didnt get any.

my furbabes come first as they cant feed themselves or clean their litter, whereas hubby can, just doesnt

Same happened here, when I happened to mention that Jameson also 'posts' on this forum, and chats with his Purr's friends! OH was like, ''you ARE mad, but I like it''

Hubby says I'm cat mad
« Reply #1 on: October 22, 2008, 10:26:08 AM »
We were having dinner last night and Milo and Jess were running around trying to get up the curtains and just being mad. So Hubby says what on earth has got into them. SO i say oh they are just training for Charlie's Army.

This then caused Hubby to put his knife and fork down and question me about Charlies Army, so I explained all, and he now thinks I'm mad.  :P
