Funnily enough, they both found that what was in the other's bowl tasted better than what was in their own.  Despite the fact that it all came from the same foil tray  ;D

I use this tactic when encouraging beefy natures menu to be consumed by someone other than lola who is my waddling dustbin  :Luv:

Yes I am mean  :naughty:  I just left it down and they both eventually ate it all.  Funnily enough, they both found that what was in the other's bowl tasted better than what was in their own.  Despite the fact that it all came from the same foil tray  ;D

Yes, my boys didn't like the Joe and Jills wet and they don't like the natures harvest either.  I think it's the texture they're not keen on as it is dry.  Having said that, I have forced them both to eat nature's harvest tonight

I read about this changing somewhere, because NM were having problems with their suppliers (ingredients?) or something like that, and this has been resolved by a change in supplier - but it sounds like a backward step then if its changed to made in EU rather than UK? I havent used it for a while anyway.

Its going to be hard to find decent high meat content wet foods made in this country without artificial flavourings, preservs. and colourings etc soon - only one I know for sure, is Forthglade - from their site 'wholesome products made in the heart of Devon, with most of the ingredients sourced from the West Country' Not sure about Natures Harvest - think made in this country, but don't know where ingredients are sourced - although it does say it uses Scottish Salmon oil  ;D

The beef and heart used to be the least popular around here, so I'm not sorry to see that has changed to beef and chicken.

That was the only bit i didnt mind! The kitten ones seem to really stick in the pouch  >:(

I always thought it was a UK food which pleased me but now says EU. I know UK intensive meat production is poor but its miles better than some other places in the EU :(

I was going to post about this!  The texture is definitely different and I have problems getting it out of the pouch now - it sticks to the sides whereas it used to come out in one solid piece.  Hard to say whether the change is good or bad taste wise as Jaffa went mad for it the other week (all flavours) when I bought some, having not had it for a good while, but now seems to be turning his nose up at it.  The beef and heart used to be the least popular around here, so I'm not sorry to see that has changed to beef and chicken.

Iv been using up my stash of the original style pouches but my friend got some of the new black boxes and it says made in the EU which it didnt before... and no longer has vegetable derivatives in the ingredients list.

The texture is more moussey and less meaty, doesnt smell as 'good' either, cant see my lot eating any of the new ones now  >:(

Beef and heart has changed to beef and chicken.

Anyone else noticed?

<---- waits for mark to find previous thread saying the same thing  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
