A rescue I fundraise for took in two older cats last year when their owner became poorly, as they were rehomed from them initially. Sadly her sister died while in care, and I didn't want that to happen to the remaining cat, so as soon as my long term foster was rehomed, I rang and asked if I could foster her - I only knew she was older with suspected liver issues, I didn't know age, colour, name or anything before I rang!! Turned out she was a tortie, not a colour I would choose to own, and it is now a year since Zia came here, I wanted to rehome her, but couldnt convince the rescue she is from, so she has had to stay!! Fortunately Molly likes her, and they are fine 95% of the time, or I would have had major problems!! Although while typing this, Zi has just decided Molly's tail was a good toy and chased it, and she does sometimes pounce on her when she is under the duvet having cuddles!! I bought them salmon for her birthday tea and in typical spoilt cat fashion, it has been ignored!!
