I look like hypochondriac Mum of the month
Maybe the vet will give you a prize.  Free consultation or something  ;)

I got a consolation prize, it's meant to be £28.50 for each new consultation plus the meds but he only charged me £8 for the entire visit.  He was one of the vets that used to look after Tiggy so he's knows I'm a fully paid up member of their pension fund!

Anyway, please to report that Riley the brave is still being brave and the glue looks to have done it's job.

I'm so glad Riley's back to his boxing paw best and lots of purrs from my boys too. Wonder if there's any bits of glass lying about in your garden then?

Oh bless him.  Glad it's nothing major and that he's fine.

I'm so glad that Mosi doesnt go outside because I dread to think of all the trouble he would get himself into.

Aw poor Riley.   Did you ever figure out what he cut his paw on?  Hope he heals up fast and is back to his old self soon.

Nope, the blood trail begins in the middle of the garden path  :shify: No sign of anything sharp, I can only presume he jumped up at the fence (to get a bug or something) and landed on a stone as it's his back foot.

He's back to his old self already, in fact he never changed - it was only the trail of blood that alerted me to it, he was acting completely normal and really didn't seem to notice at all.  He's such a brave little soldier   :Luv2:

Glad he`s ok, but you know Riley just wouldnt be Riley without his mild disasters

Mild disaters, I like it  :evillaugh:  He's such a brave boy and doesn't seem to be in any discomfort.  I've managed to get all the blood out of the carpet too so mild disaster number two averted!

Oh yes feet bleed like crazy (as do cut noses!).

Poor Riley though, wonder how he did it  :scared: he must have had his paws into something that he shouldn't have. He's only doing it for a nice dinner  :evillaugh:

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

Had just put my (late) lunch in the oven and started to clean the kitchen floor when Riley came in and started to leave bl00dy paw prints on the lino.  Followed him into the living room to find a scene from a horror movie, blood everywhere.  Rang the vets and took him down, by this point it has stopped bleeding and is a tiny cut so I look like hypochondriac Mum of the month  :evillaugh:  He's had it cleaned and tiny bit of glue put on so hopefully it shouldn't cause him any problems.

Was looking at his notes, so far he has had;

X-ray
ECG's
Blood test
Ultrasounds (over several visits for the panting, declared fit and healthy)

Antibiotics x 2 (over three visits for a random foot infection)

Anti-inflammatory
Antibiotics (for his first bee/wasp sting)

Visit to be re-chipped

...and now his cut foot, compare that with Lu who had to go back for an extra check up after they were neutered as he was bit off colour!
