When people give us a ?50 plus donation in memory of a loved one we ask if they would like us to put up a plaque on one of our cat pens in its memory. They cost us about ?10 and before it is placed on a pen  one of our members mounts it on a wood base.

Oh Ela, that's a lovely thing to do, it means so much.

Have to admit that I hadnt got round to doing Ginger's tribute, so have done that this morning. I like the fact that money goes towards cat rescues, so you are helping another cat.

I didn't either, but if your loss can help save others it is not a bad thing.

Right, I just thought this way rescues who are actually known to the posters (in an internet sorrt of way) would benefit.

Erm, not 100% sure about that Ela. I use CC's rememberance page, where the money goes towards a cat rescue, and might not always be able to afford both, but wouldn't want to not be able to post here.

Is it possible that when posting on this sad topic a donation is sent to Tan in memory of a much loved pet to be put in a 'Purrs in your heart' fund,  to be used to buy a Commemorative cat pen for a deserving rescue.

I appreciate Tan is it more work but perhaps worthwhile.
