It's good news indeed that Lulu is so much better in herself.  I would guess that injuries like hers will take some time to heal fully and that her shape will be odd at least until they have.    to her.

Hi Guys,

She seems more settled today, I think she was in pain last night as she had been pulled about for the xrays.
She is still walking very stiff and looks a strange shape at the back but my vet said she will be like this for a while till things start to repair.

He also said she has quiet a few gravel grazzes.

Something i have noticed, the other cats smell and lick her back hips....its almost as if they "know" that is where she is hurt

Thank you so much for all the well wishes.

She is not so good tonight, limping quiet abit but i think this probably because she has been pulled about today (i noticed that after the vet visit yesterday too)
She was also finding it hard to get settled so i have just been lieing on the bed with her and she has now fallen alseep.
Gotta be honest i did have a little cry while stroking her, feel so bad for her especially as they can't talk and tell you who much it hurts.

She is home now  :Luv:

My vet showed Me her xrays, She has done quiet abit of damage to the muscles.
Not only has it come away from the skin she has also torn it in a few places.
Her left side is alot bigger than the right side with swellings.

She just needs to rest and let things heal

Right, she hasnt broken anything but she has alot of air under the skin where she has torn the skin away from the muscle .
The air could be gas which means there could be an infection so she is going onto a course of antibiotics.....the skin will reattach its self to the muscle  in time.
She has alot of swelling around her hips which will go down in time.

Looks like my poor baby took one hell of a knock  :(

Fingers crossed for Lulu.  Both a cracked pelvis and a tear in the diaphragm sound painful, but treatable, thank goodness.  But Mark may have a point: let's see what happens.

 to Lulu and to you.

It's not just about the money, imagine one of us released from hospital with damaged organs or broken bones? - is there such a thing as medical negligence with animals?

I would question paying the 1st vet his money if he hasn't done his job properly

Will deff be in touch with emergency vet if it turns out she has either.

I also showed him my bill as there seemed to be 2 payments for IV fluids
