Mine enjoy the bath, Gizmo decided he would jump into it after I had gotten out and well I freaked out and he just sat in a tub full of water.

So he's not bothered much by water - the first time he saw bubbles though he was very freaked out ;)

Smoke however will wee in the tub so the bathroom door has to stay closed when I'm not in there!

Byron comes into the bathroom with me everynight and sometimes sits on the edge and has put out a paw as if about to get in but doubt she'd every dare

I am afraid mine are little hooligans and leave muddy footprints in the bath, along with the remains of whatever it was they were chasing in there

mine love then bath!

it has to be empty before they will get in though!  apart from when Tepe fell in the bath as OH was getting out, it was very full with bubbles and Tepe freaked out (we were very cruel and laughed)  it hasn't stopped him washing himdels in there in the sun though.
Feel the fear and do it anyway!

Flynn (Egyptian Mau) is happy to paddle in water up to 3-4 inches and wants to sit on you and play with the water if you are in the bath. Having seen him swimming (yet). He also likes being out in the rain.

My 9 month old kitten loves water, he has tried to get into the bath several times.  He has a good look at the bath water, just lacks the courage (thank god) to get in.  watering the garden he loves, he can hear falling water from miles away.  With a watering can he pulls the spout towards him.  I saw him the other day closley watching my neighbour watering her garden.

Bless them they keep me amused

My mums cat Casper is like that, before I moved here I'd be having a bath and he'd play with the bubbles and sometimes fall in, didn't seem to bother him much!

Foxy regularly falls in the bath and gets a wet back half but it doesn't put her off.  She sits on the end of the bath every night when I'm in it ... and insists on walking up and down the side ... if the side is a bit wet and slippery this is when she falls in

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

When Bronte was much younger she used to like perching on the wooden surround around the bath in our last house, if I was in the bath. Then one night she fell in and that was the end of that.

My cats all detest water.

When I was a kid one of our friends had a kitten that had ringworm (i think it was ringworm) and he had to be bathed daily or so. He grew up loving it and they couldn't keep him out of the shower. He used to have a shower every morning with my friend's mum. He was really funny.

Two out of my three like playing with the bubbles  ;D.  They take turns to sit on the washing basket which is right next to the bath.  Always come out smelling lovely.

none of my two liked water :scared:
but at bath time, I remember it well, sticking my toes through the bubbles  specially when Hamish was in the vicinity
(He had claws like needles  )
I also remember the time I had just ran a bath, the water was about 8" deep and Misty was having a mad half hour
and ran full speed onto the cupboard at the end of the bath, slid along it right into the water  :-:
He came outta ther quicker than he went in  :evillaugh: strangely enough though, it was only His Paws that got wet  :-:

When Chilli was a kitten, about 8 months old, I moved to a new house that had just had lawn laid, we had to water it in every day. The only thing we had to do it with was a watering can. Well, Chilli loved this watering can, running in and out of the spray, catching the water in her mouth, standing directly under the spray. not caring that she was soaking wet. Kept myself and the housemates very amused. She did grow out of it though, not fussed but not a fan of water. She does enjoy a drink out of the tap in the bathroom sink when I'm on the loo though  :evillaugh:

Dave appears to hate water, a few flicks from a soggy hand and he's offski. Good to know for deterrent purposes though  ;)

I'm wondering if anyone else has a cat as mad as this. She is not phased by water at all.

She tried her hardest to jump in the shower with my hubby the the other day, with no amount of water flicking or shower spraying her being a deterant.
And today, whilst having a bath, she decides to sit on the edge of the bath, and play with the bubbles    I tried again with flicking water at her, but not bothered at all. She walks all the way around the bath, to where I am.  Once again interested in the bubbles that are up to my neck

She is however only 13 weeks, so all could change !!!!!! But had to share with you.
