We got a call today - They think they may have a couple of kittens coming in for us.
They're gonna send someone around to do the homecheck to make sure we're safe though... (I wonder why they didn't do that last week)
I hope so as I'm such an impatient woman I wanted some fosters last week!! lol

The actual fact you have a young daughter helps with fostering and it helps to socialise kittens being used to kiddies (although always supervised of course)... If you were Kent way i would be banging at your door....!! Although anyone who fosterer for us is visited by our welfare ladies we can in fact get anyone up and running in no time....So i am not quite sure if there is a problem... Anyhows your offer is great and i am usre one pusscat or more will find haven with you for a short time

Maybe we'll get a call soon then?
I think its probably cos our daughter is only 8 months and I know a couple of rescues further away have said they wouldnt foster to us cos of her age. At least CP have said they'd call when they got a suitable cat.

Very strange, as they told me a few mins ago they are always looking for fosters.

When I asked them they said they didn't have any suitable cats for me yet and would let me know when they did.
Granted it WAS only about a week ago I asked them but I'm such an impatient person... lol I'm ready to help now.

Knowing Wrexham very well, I even lived there once. I know for a fact that the CP are full to bursting and are always on the look out for fosterers, so do not really understand your post.

I have contacted CPL who have none at the moment and RSPCA who do not want me to help.
I have 2 cats (mother & son) who are both neutered and an 8 month old daughter. I have an empty spare room and plenty of time.
Is there anywhere on here that you put animals needing foster homes?
Thanks
