Could you borrow a dog crate or kitten pen from somebody and keep her inside when your own cats are in the same room? Perhaps buying a second hand crate from someone would be cheaper than your friend paying for a cattery, and would be reused each time your friends goes away on holiday anyway, so it's a good investment.

If it's going to upset your own cats, don't do it. If you have a room she could stay in (like a dining room or a bedroom) without your own cats meeting her, that would be ideal.

Oh thats a difficult one with lots of things to think about.

If its going to be  difficult to fit the little one in with your cats routine I would think long and hard.

Best of luck

My friend has a 11 week old kitten and is going on holiday in 5 weeks time.  She has asked me to have the kitten to stay so that she doesn't get bored/lonely at home.  What do you guys think?  My cats are really laid back but she's quite a flightly little madam.  Any advice would be appreciated.
