find them irritating - just like human kids

i don't see the attraction with kittens.
I've only had one kitten. Sasha (bridge babe) was four, Summer was two, Smartie was nearly three and Skye (the angelical looking hooligan) was twelve weeks. Admittedly they were all fab when I got them (including said hooligan lol) but friends have had problems with scratching, litter trays etc with kittens. Just need to persuade hubby that four is no more hassle than three. He loves them and would have another but in his words "we don't want to spoil the equilibrium" I have 4. I've been from 2 to 1, up to 3, back down to 2 and then up to 4. The initial 2 were the happiest together but the happiest they have been since then was when we went up to 4. No matter what mood each one is in they either get to be on their own, have someone to snuggle with or some one to play with now. I'm on the lookout for number 5 but hubby drew the line when I mentioned taking on another pair. 6 x the vet bills and insurance didn't seem to appeal for some reason.BTW - good luck with the rest of the oldies. Hope they all find the homes the deserve.
