Aww poor baby. He needs someone who has had a cat with silimar probs before. it might be best if he is homed as an only cat as well.

I was afraid someone might say an only-cat. I'm filled, maybe naively, with a hope that he will settle with other cats or at least one other as he was so happy with his friend Tilly and he adores human company.

In a way that's another reason I'd like to pampurr him. I think if he settled he'd be great company for the Corporal who has that persian "I want to be everyone's bezzie mate" personality.

Only thing is I have a rather large BSH who would retaliate and would win so I couldn't risk it  :(

You may or may not remember we had four cats brought in from a neglect case fairly recently.

Well they all went off to their new homes and settled. All except Malcolm. Although he had lived with three other cats and numerous dogs he didn't take too kindly to his new home and sprayed everywhere.

He also goes for every cat in sight.

He really is such a wonderful boy and I'd really love to take him in, warts n all but OH is very houseproud and wouldn't even entertain the idea.

He's a real "people" cat and was the happiest cat in the world as MrsR and I lavished attention on him.

I'm probably take some Feliway and/or rescue remedy with me when I next go but does anyone have any experience in calming traumatised/neglected cats?

The spraying may well be down to the fact that he was neutered late (3/4 yo) and we believe he was used for breeding  >:(

Here is the sorry fella, love ya Malc  :Luv:
