That's such heartening news Desley.  Very glad his op's gone well and that he'll have a new home lined up when he's fit enough to go back out into the world.  ;D

This little lad has had to have his femur head removed, which the RSPCA have kindly paid for, he is going to spend the next 10 days with the vet to recover, which is probably better than here, he can have better pain meds there, and they have had 3 people offer him a home already, so doesnt look like he will need to come to us. He has been a very lucky boy, to get off so lightly and end up with a vet that didn't want to pts and has made sure it hasn't happened. I also told her that if the people she has to let down are very keen on a kitten, to give them our number, we have 21!!

Fingers crossed it is just cuts & scratches  :)

As for Trevor Brooking, I dealt with him a few years ago as he now owns a company in the East End that sells boring plastic combs for ring binding  :evillaugh:

aw bless....sending lots of vibes to the little kitty

your story reminds me of a cat i used to have.  we found him in a coal bunker at my aunt's pub, tiny little thing, about 3 months old.  he was either lost or abandoned. i took him home, washed him...and he was pure white, and he wasn't deaf either!  he had a tiny little black streak on his head that disappeared as he got older.  we called him Trevor (after Trevor Brooking, my brother is a West Ham fan). he loved to 16 years old in the end...always timid...but he loved being next to you.

When I went to pick Phoebe up, the vet asked if I wanted another kitten - a 3/4month old was brought in this morning after being hit by a car, no chip and not neutered - unsure of colour, vet told me he was a greyish colour, but he looks more like a pure white who is just very dirty. Nothing obviously wrong other than a cut on his mouth, but vet is keeping him overnight and deciding if he needs any x-rays etc in the morning - if not, he can come to me tomorrow. So fingers crossed he is fine overnight and doesn't have any lasting issues due to his trauma today. So I could have 2 under the age of a year old, very unusual for me!!
