Ahhhh how lovely.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

The kittens absolutely adore the girls! Follow them everywhere. They are very kind to each other and play together non-stop. The kittens are definately in charge of the dogs too! hehe

That was a few weeks ago- they are growing very fast!

Sharon, just to let you know I went with the family to collect the kittens on Sunday and then saw Denise (the mum) at work today and she says they are really settled. The whole family absolutely adore them and all the girls want for their birthdays is toys for their lovely kittens they love them so much.
Thanks so much for suggesting such little cuties, you have mad them really happy.

If you go to the kent listings on catchat you will see all the local kent based rescues. We are due to take in 2 LH females kittens end of this week Peaches and Cherry who are black and ginger i think.. They would have to be rehomed as a pair, roughly 9wks old.  But due to their colouring i doubt they will hang around long.. Homechecks would be required as normal with CP etc & donations are appreciated (as well all know)

What branch are you as its doesnt say on your name or profile. Dont by anychance want any kittens for your branch do you to rehome in your area we are somewhat suffering you see with kitten overload..? Just a thought!

They are based in Lingfield which is pretty much on the kent/surrey border. They are on holiday for the next week so I said I would make some enquiries for them while they are away so that all sounds great. I shall speak to them as soon as they get back about a kent-based CP. Do you know which would be most local? Although I am sure they wouldn't mind a bit of a travel for 2 gorgeous fur-babies!

Just about every CP branch in Kent is full to the brim with kittens.

If you can tell us where your friends are based then i am sure local CP branch would welcome rehoming kittens this time of year and if they are by any chance SE based then get in touch with me.. I can find you loads.

Loving family looking to give a home to two kittens- SORTED :D
« Reply #1 on: August 19, 2008, 10:51:39 AM »
I am good friends with a family who are looking to give forever homes to a pair of kittens. As a CP worker who does home visits I would have no problems with rehoming 2 kittens with them. They are lovely, caring people. Very animal- informed/ orientated. Large garden on a quiet road. They have 2 dogs, 2 guineas and 2 rabbits who live the life of luxury so would give 2 kittens a wonderful home. They would like kittens as opposed to older cats because their children would really like to grow up with the cats and little Megan is totally in love with my Rufus!
I would definately have tried to rehome them with some of our CP kittens (if we had any!) but as a new branch we don't have very many cats in as yet as we are still building up our fosterers and all the cats we have had coming in have been older cats which is why I am looking on here for them. Therefore if anyone is looking to rehome some kittens direct/ via a rescue then please get in touch as I said I would help them find the new additios to their family.
