Sometimes animals know when they're being naughty....but they get away with it. ;)

Sorry Mark, wasn't having a dig. I just find it difficult to comprehend what motivates people to do such horrible things.

I don't mean those people in particular, just people in general. Animals are always blameless?

A cat can be nothing but blameless whatever the people may or may not have done  :'(

After reading that article, I'm not sure what anyone could have done to deserve that kind of end. How awful.

I assume we know that the cat was indeed their pet, do we?

I was really upset when I first read about this - and then I felt just slightly guilty that I felt more upset about the cat being killed than I did about the two people.

Me too  :shy:

They're trying to figure out if there is any cultural significance in murdering their pet.

nobody seems to know why the couple were murdered, I guess if somebody is going to kill two people they'd have no problem killing a cat

That's why I always say crimes deserve punishment but I think any violent crime against people or animals should be automatic permanent removal from society - the quick cheap way!  >:(
