I'm embarassed to admit my four have 12 beds to choose from - my partner thinks I'm addicted to buying cat beds! They tend to have favourites, but none of them are used all the time.

Mine have 2 "proper" cat beds that they'll go in occasionally, Fergus more than Polly though. They also have a carboard box with a blanket in, which Polly tends to like. At the moment though, Polly sleeps on the windowsill, whether it's cooler on there? Fergus now seems to like curling up on last weekends newspaper which is still on my bedroom floor. So yes, they are very fickle. There's lots of different options for them and I think they just tend to go where they fancy.

there really isn't anything sweeter than finding a long forgotten bed with a cat curled up really tightly inside because they are cold - I love it!!

Max has a pyramid bed which he managed to ignore for ages, now he goes in from time to time, I reckon they're just fickle  :)

mine go in phases I do think the weather might have something to do with it, they can ignore a bed for 6 months and just when I decide to give it to the charity shop they readopt it!

Do cats get fed up of their beds? Bubz hs been routinely sleeping anywhere else than in her bed since she started rolling off onto the floor. My current PA says its because its too hot for her at this time of year and I dont know who to believe - my instinct or her! The bed has got soft round the edges where she lies partly on it and that wont have helped with her staying on the chest of drawers.
