I have emailed the poster the phone number from the advert just in case although it does sound like this cat was in good condition and well looked after before going missing on new years day.

Marie it could be the same cat ..... althought she was visiting her finder from December she didn't moved in until January.  It might be worth putting the two people in contact with each other ... Just in case.

Sam

Thought this looked promising for a moment as I noticed there was a black female cat missing in Taunton when I took Maisy to the vets last week but unforunately it has only been missing since new years day so cannot be the same cat.  I will keep my eyes and ears open though!

From the national pet registery:

Medium sized, black, long-haired female cat. Very fluffy tail. No collar. Very shy at first, now very playful and loves sitting on laps. This cat started coming to me in early December 06, just for food, late at night. She was very hungry and quite flea-riddled so i think she'd been sleeping rough a good few weeks. As from Jan 07 she's now in every day. She has such a lovely temperament, someone must be missing her very much. Please contact me (Kate) by email on kbaben@btinternet.com
