all week the children have been keeping Lyla company and yesterday morning Abbie said if I could chose a birthday present and only had one it would by that Lyla found a new family.

Earlier this week my Grandchildren received a litter from Santa, Abbie said but mum I don't want any presents, Lyla being homed for my birthday can count for Christmas as well, bless her. Little do they both know that as usual they have had hundreds spent on them, but I wonder how many 10 year olds would rather a cat have a nice home than a presents.

A lovely family who had adopted from us before rang yesterday afternoon and said they could only have one cat but had seen Belinda and Lyla on our site and could they view them both, they went to view Belinda who is gorgeous at Donna's first then came to my house to look at Lyla, instantly they fell in love, although they were a little torn as they also thought Belinda a little darling. I asked them  to go home talk about it and let me know. This morning they rang to say they would love to offer Lyla a home.

Funnily enough, this weekend my daughter & her husband are taking Abbie and Lauren to London for 4 days as it is Abbie’s 10th birthday on Sunday, all week the children have been keeping Lyla company and yesterday morning Abbie said if I could chose a birthday present and only had one it would by that Lyla found a new family. I said to her would you give up your London trip which includes going to see High School the Musical, A trip round London to see all the sites (well the sites they want you to see  ) a ride on the London Eye and a meal with a VIP pass to the Hard Rock Café. Bless her, she said I would give all that up if Lyla can find a home.

Knowing the Isle of Man better than I know Chesterfield, knowing very well the traits of Manx cats, the fact that there are tailed,  Stumpy's (a short stump of a tail.) & Rumpy's, (tailless) Raisers ( a bit of a tail at the base of the spine) & the fact that most they have a silky-textured double coat and I have seen hundreds, added to that the fact that I have over the years had numerous  cats that have had their tails removed. Believe me Lyla is a Manx

She is lovely, but I would say a cat who has lost her tail, it is a tad too long to be a stumpy Manx, but the normal length for an amputation

Aww, I saw her on your site the other day. She looks lovely, as do Cotton and Meg. (Well, they all do but they were the three I noticed the most!)

Lyla is a Manx (stumpy) about 5-6 yrs old and came into care initially after someone finally brought her plight to our attention, she was living by a bus stop. Now she has been brought into care again after being found wondering in Leeds (long story how she went missing).  Now living with me she is a little darling and will make someone a very happy owner indeed We now feel that an indoor home would be the best option to ensure her safety. I would also say 'the wonder of microchips. Although her owner had moved from the address on the chip the chip company knew the chip had been issued to us and when I was contacted I remembered the description of lyla who was homed 2 years ago.
