Vicky Halls is a trained VN as well as a feline behaviouralist. I would imagine that sort of thing would be based on observation so fairly accurate.Interesting (and a bit scary), I'd missed that bit in the book - I've got all three by that author.
I am currently reading the Cat Detective book about cat behaviour and the author has a theory that cats have a bit of a watershed age of 12 and that if they can get past 12 then they are likely to see it into their late teens - 12 is a common age for developing ailments.
