That made me think of one of my sons friends whose father was a science teacher.  They used to have locusts in glass tanks - they gave me the screaming heebies  :sick:

 :rofl: :rofl: at least if it's in the house you stand a chance of finding it when it starts to "chirrup".

I remember years ago when I used to keep spiders I dropped the box of live food (crickets) on the floor .... I managed to catch most of them but for months after there were at least two of three loose in the house chirrupping to each other in the dead of night ... very annoying!  :rofl:
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Having done her level best to decimate the local butterfly population, Sophie has now moved on to bigger and better things.  She came in the living room yesterday with what I thought was a small bit of grass or twig.  When she put it down and started prodding it I realised she was now the proud owner of a grasshopper!  I tried to get it off her but she disappeared with it so goodness knows where it is now - in the house or in Sophie?
