Letterbox cat charity T.Shirts -- UPDATE 27/08/08 - Guess What I've Got! :)

Good morning folks,

I now have some sample pricing for you.

Black T. Shirt with single sided artwork = £17.00 + P&P

As above but double-sided = £20.00 + P&P see my previous post below for artwork combinations.

I am waiting on the exact P&P costings for the supplier to ship directly to the "customer" to avoid extra shipping costs.

For every T.Shirt sokl £8.50 will go to Tan at Purrs for distribution to a suitable cat charity, no money is being made by myself all the costings are included in the above figures.

I will post P&P charges as soon as possible.

That's a shame Dawn, there must be some way to get a pic of your puds and I would love to get everyone that's interested in the idea's cat/s into the thing, makes it personal and better VFM as well.

I don't see to much of a hurry here, once the idea for a new scene comes together it won't take too long to incorporate and it'll take a while for the T.Shirt/dress idea to circulate amongst Purrs peeps and the order to be placed etc.

I wouldn't wait for me Leigh!  I've got three chips worth of cat photos and no idea how to get them off!!  I did hear I could get them put on a cd but have never got around to it, when the chip is full I just end up buying another one!

What I could do is another scene for the animation in which I could add more Purrs' peeps cats. I need to give it some thought and then those that are interested could send me suitable pics and they too could "go to the ball"  and have thier cat(s)' pics included.

I could do another crown scene or suchlike with different cats.

I'll re-edit my original posting in a sec. with the suggestion.

Thanks, I must admit that being a "bloke" I hadn't thought at length about styling but as most of the interested parties are most likely to be ladies I will attempt to find out more about the styling etc. I do know that white is slightly cheaper than black to print on, IMO the design works better on dark colours, more "Rocky".

As soon a I have accessed demand I'll go back to the T.Shirt people and discuss things in more detail and post here. Do you have an example pic of the style that you could post ?, Do you mean by "shift dress" the style of a longer length T.Shirt and yes, I did google it 

I think it works beautifully on black.

If you imagine a woman wearing a T shirt that is loose-fitting and comes down to mid-thigh, like a 1960s dress, that is what I mean.  I suspect you and Google got it right

Will they be possible in large sizes so as to be worn like a shift dress rather than a fitted T shirt?  Your design would be great for that

I don't think that quantity will effect pricing that much until one gets to "serious" quantities and I can't see that happening so it's not a case of dissapointing anyone if we only get a few interested parties we will still be able to fullfill all orders but of course the more the merrier and the more we can raise for charity, all I can donate is my artwork and copyright FOC.

PS. If your cat is in the animation but not in the scenes shown on the T.Shirt then I can swap scenes and produce some other sample artwork including the new scene/s.

Hi folks, I have recently been discussing with Tan the idea of producing some limited edition Letterbox T.Shirts with all procedes except the production and P&P costs going to cat charities.

I am waiting to see what the demand might be before announcing pricing details but have been in touch with a T.Shirt supplier/printer and the pricing doesn't look prohibited.

EDIT: If you'd like your cat/s to be imortalised in the animation and included in the T.Shirt design then please post here and let me know and I will then think about adding a new scene to the animation and post requesting you to supply suitable pictures. Of course I'm always open to sugestions as to how these cats might be brought into the animation.
