Ron, I'm so pleased that you have popped your head above the parapet again 'cos I e-mailed you privately some time ago after you put a question re cat-proofing on a thread. I didn't hear back from you so am not sure whether you received the e-mail or not. If you read this thread, please send me an e-mail.

I know ya have lots of pens in ya garden but I would happily donate a kit to you if it would help you to keep the cats contained and safe. I'm not sure whether it would be feasible with all the pens but I'm sure we could work something out.

Let me know....and give that little lady a cuddle from me.

Nice to know she has a forever home in her twilight years Ron, somehow they make their thoughts known before we acknowledge that they are keepers!

So Foxy, now number nine at Rons and hopefully she will get to enjoy her new status as your cat for a long while yet

Re the foxes -
In my local paper last week there was a story, A lady had always feed the foxes that came in her garden. Her cat wasnt bothered by them and had even played with the cubs a few years ago. Anyway last week she and her husband were in bed and heard a terrible noise, they looked out of the window and their cat was being attacked by a couple of foxes - by the time they got downstairs the foxes and the cat were nowhere to be seen, sadly they later found their cats body

update on little old cat, well it looks like she has found a home, she wanders around the house like she has aways lived here and gets on well with all the other house cats, she is 16 plus and we have named her Foxy after her near miss with them. she sleeps in my Bedroom on the window sill with the window open all night and goes out in the garden so she is not going anywhere she has really made herself at home

so she is now number nine house cat i am to soft

11-30 Friday night we had a phone call asking if we could Help, there was a poor old cat trapped in a corner of a Lady's garden by two Foxes its a good job the lady heard the screaming the lady got the cat by throwing chicken at the Foxes and grabbing the cat, she had phoned all the rescue,s in Brighton with no luck, she could not believe that there was no.one to come out to help the poor little mite who was trembling with fear

and she had nowhere to put the poor little thing as she had dogs. We are full to the brim over 40 cats, kittens, and a pregnant mum due to drop her litter any time now, But you all know me just cant say No, we took the poor little old Torty lady to our vet Saturday morning, the vet said she is 15 years plus but is very thin and he thought had been on the streets for some time so she will never really get a home the vet said apart from her age she is quite fit she is now living my kitchen but we put her in a gage of a night so my own cats can come and go as they please, my own cats are really good when i bring strange cats home I think they know i am bringing the in to help them. but i must learn say no soon as i cant keep up with the vet Bills they make me

some times but i always seem to get by in the end someone up there is helping me.
