What a lucky couple to have had Tiggy/Pomanders company for eleven years. And what a wonderful gift to give to them, Teresa.

RIP Tiggy. You knew a lot of love in eleven years and now you get to play at the Bridge.

I'm sure we can all relate to how upset they must be feeling.  :'(

At least she had many years with people who cared so much for her.  :)

RIP Tiggy x

Eleven years of much-loved life.  What a gift - what a gift - you and this wonderful couple gave little Tiggy.  But my heart goes out to them in their loss.

Tiggy formerly Pomander

Many years ago I rescued a badly beaten tabby cat and her feral kittens; the poor mum was in a really bad way and stunk- I called her Pomander and we weaved our magic on her and her kittens. A wonderful couple came to look for a kitten and as soon as the woman spotted Pomander she fell in love with her,the husband wanted a kitten but the wife won over and Pomander got the wonderful home she deserved.
Pomander was renamed Tiggy and lived in luxury with people who adored. her. I got a phone call this afternoon Tiggy has been PTS after losing her battle with cancer.
It was the husband who called me, his wife is too devastated, he cried down the phone as he thanked me for giving him the precious Pomander almost 11 years ago.
So today is one of the rare times I have found myself crying for people, I know just how that couple feel.
If my memory serves me right we evicted our dear Buster from his Pen to make room for Pomander all those years ago.
