Thanks, I will see if I get a reply back from my email to them and go from there I think.

You would have to speak to HQ, I dont know what you need to set a branch up but it might be tricky for someone working full time, I know I am not best suited to certain kinds of cats such as pregnant mums because of it so I take the adults, which frees the main rescue up to take mums and kittens. It also depends on if you would be able to fit vet visits, homechecks and paperwork in as well.

Depends which Cat Action Trust, there are 2. If it is Cat Action Trust 1977, there are about 4 of us on here, 2 different branches. As for setting up of branches, it is all volunteer run, we dont have shelters per se, all branches are run from volunteers homes, so I think it is more someone willing to do it.

Is it something I would be able to set up or does it need someone who isn't in full time work?

Meant to say I'd be interested to hear if there are any plans for a Notts branch.

Thanks Sam I will email her.

Yes I really hope someone is in the process or at least something that can be looked at, reading their HQ site really has me interested in helping.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Wondered if any members work for them?    I didn't know about this till this week and really want to help this wonderful organisation.    I have looked on their website and no branches in Nottinghamshire but have sent an email to see if anyone is in the process of setting up in my area.
