The person currently taking care of these two has posted on the original thread - they are still looking for a forever home or foster home.  Will leave this thread locked to save confusion,  all replies on the original thread please.

Hasn't this situation been resolved between Diddy Dawn and Free to good home helper? I offered transport but think someone else helped out.

A worrying ad but PM for the link...

hi there, I am currently looking after 2 beautiful boy cats, both have been neutered and are fully up to date with injections and have certificates of proof to go along with each cat.
One is black about 9 years old, and one is a ginger cat whose age is uncertain as he was originally a stray, both are adorable.
they are both from the same home but it is possible to rehome seperately as sometimes they prefer to be alone.
due to unforseen circumstances the owner sadly passed away on sunday just gone, she has no immediate family in the area, and I live 2 buses away and have been travelling there and back everyday to take care of them but i am suffering due to being allergic to them and having breathing problems, otherwise i would take them in myself but my health is suffering from them which is why I am unable to keep pets of my own.
I have tried ringing around everywhere to try and find them lovely homes where they can spend the rest of their days, but to no avail, and no cat rescue centres can take them as they are full to overflowing with kittens and cats.
we have been informed that due to this if we were to take the cats to certain places they will be put to sleep, I cant understand why they'd put a loving healthy animal to sleep? I have already rehomed one cat this week but really need someone who can give one or both of them a great home, after all these were once someone's beloved pets. they were obviously mistreated before she took them in, so you would need to be a little patient as they are nervous to begin with, but they are very loving and affectionate once they get to know you,its all about gaining their trust.

if you can offer either of them a loving home please do feel free to make contact asap, as the executer of the will has to sell the house with immediate effect, and if the cats aren't gone I dread to think what may happen to them or where they may end up, this is my last hope for the cats. please contact me as soon as possible

Jen xxx
