Yesterday we were again contacted by the vets and took in a puss that was due to be PTS.. So now we are again bursting even though we have rehomed a few kittens.
Another one of our vets rang today, they have a 2yr old full tom in their care that is being neutered today.. He has been a right pain in the local neighbourhood and has beaten a few cats up giving them very bad injuries. He got caught today and handed into the vets, they ring us about taking him in.. He isnt a cat to be messed with, can bite and will probably only do well on a farm or rural environment where he get fed but keeps his distance from people.. He may settle now he is due to be neutered but its hard to tell.
We dont have any room for this fella who has been named Barney.. he is at the moment at the vets until we work out a plan... so he could be their a while.. Barney has yet to be blood tested...and we are unlikely to vac him as it would be difficult to get him back to the vets to be given booster.
A bit of a tough one this one, as we would of told them to take him back once neutered and we deal with him when we do have room, but the vets are not keen for this to be done, as although not feral he isnt wanted in the area he came from and they think he may come to harm.
Can anyone help with a placement for this one.. Again huge issue with transport as we are Kent based and he is currently at a vets in Whitstable...
PM or post here if you can assist in any way..
