Hello everyone.
It has saddened me that I have had to come to the forum under these circumstances but I feel I have no other choice anymore.
I have a 3 cats in total, Simba who is a 3 year old Male and quite large, Gizmo who is a 1 1/2 year old Male and medium size and Holly my 11 Month old Small Female.
Now Holly came in as a stray just before Xmas last year, And all was fine, Simba was abit off for a couple of weeks but he adjusted and he did chase her afew times but never as bad as it's gotten lately, He did calm off for a long time til now.....
Over the last 3 weeks he has started getting quite aggressive with her, Not all the time but he will suddenly attack her for no reason, Last night alone he went for her 4 times and even though he gets told off and a light tap he still carried on shortly after.
Upon inspection this morning both me and my partner noticed Holly had slight swelling on the sides of her face aswell as some open wounds nothing too major but still enough to weep, I have applied some weakened T.C.P to the wounds to stop infection but I am now worried of the attacks.
I am going to phone the Vets in the morning and get Holly booked in for a check up on the wounds aswell just to be on the safe side.
Simba is normally a friendly cat who likes attention, He's always been abit of a macho cat who likes to be Big Boss but he's never been as bad as this and also he never goes for the younger Male Gizmo.
Holly is a very friendly Cat she can be abit timid but all in all she's very loving and affectionate.
There all indoor cats but they have more then enough room.
Simba and Gizmo have both been spayed and Holly is just waiting for an appointment to get her done too.
Hope someone can help.
If you need anymore advice please ask and I will do my VERY best to give exact answers.
