Do you know I actually don't know, but they do a loyality scheme so we just use that, we're due to get some soon so I'll have a look, I suspect that its cheaper online though.

Thinking about it I don't think we frontlined them last month

If anyone orders from vetuk, and lets face it you'd be crazy not to given their prices and free superfast p&p, please order through a rescue link so they will get 5% of your order value donated to them by vetuk.

The rescues on here that have a link are below, I always take it in turns every time I order.

www.chesterfieldcats.co.uk/ - click on vetuk logo on right hand side of home page

http://www.pawsinncats.com/ - click on vetuk logo at bottom of home page

http://www.coventrycatgroup.org.uk/sections.php?id=commission - click on the words 'vetuk link'

http://www.catactiontrust1977.co.uk/ - click on 'vetuk online shop' on left hand side

Don't buy Frontline from the vets. I noticed it was £19.99 for 3 treatments in there today! I couldn't believe it!

Pets at Home sell 3 x frontline (online) for £12.99 - it's £9.79 from vetuk but even cheaper if you get a 6 pack - I just bought a 6 pack for £16.29.  PAH are also doing 2 x Drontal for £7.99, 2 x drontal from from vetuk is just £2.84!  I always go through a rescue link so not only do I get a bargain but the rescue gets helped in a small way too  :)

Spray is not very stress free

Frontline spot on's are good -  they work well and are now competively priced as they can be bought online.

If you want to buy prescription treatments you have a big choice, some treat round worms and ear mites as well as fleas.

A well priced combination is drontal for worms and frontline for fleas.  ;D

Avoid any supermarket/PAH products eg. bob martin, sherleys, johnsons

Best Flea Treatment ?
« Reply #1 on: July 07, 2008, 12:59:45 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice and help.
I have 2 cats aged 3 and th other 3 1/2 - female and male.
Rather than keep taking to vets for flea injections what is the best spray that CPL uses or drops to use, which works out the cheapest.
Getting Tibby in Carrrier is near impossible and stresses him out too much - so better to treat fleas at home I think.
Thanks
Amanda xx
