Victoria and Fred (two ferals who were part of a colony of 8 I trapped last Nov; I homed 6 but have taken these two in myself) have had their first look around my bedroom/study/computer room - the room in which I spend most of my time and which is VERY untidy.
Victoria was very curious and looked slightly disgusted by how cluttered and unkempt the room was, she even started to vacuum the carpet with her tongue (which was immediately stopped by me). They had a wonderful time sniffing around Polly and Sam's various snoozing places, Fred was especially interested in Polly's bed, which is underneath the desk. He then discovered the bin and ran off with a chocolate muffin wrapper. He ran into 'his' room with it. I chased him, took it from him, and replaced it with some kitten munchies!
Polly and Sam are now aware that someone has been in their room and are acting a bit miffed!
Polly and Fred kissed noses on the stairs last night. Fred tried to kiss her again, but she hissed at him for being too familiar.
It's going to take time, but I think there's a possibility that these two sets of cats will get on and that I can fully tame Fred and Vic.
Fingers crossed.
P.S. why is the word C.H.O.C.O.L.A.T.E. filtered?
