Thanks everyone   I'm sure she's in a better place now and no more tummy problems bless her.  When I first picked Amelia and Azura up, Amelia was absolutely petrified of me, well not just me but anyone.  She was even hissing at the breeder when I collected her.  Over the time that I had her, she learnt that she wasn't going to come to any harm and ended up the most gorgeous loving cat you could wish for  :Luv2:  She still had the odd day where she'd be a little wary but nothing like when I first got her.  As soon as my hand touched her, she would roll around purring and staring up at me with such sad eyes, she did have a knack of worming her way in with you but she came across as being so delicate and needing gentle handling  :'(  I just hope todays decision was the right one for her but I'm not going to ponder on the thoughts of what if, otherwise it will get me in floods of tears again  :'(

So sorry to hear Amelia seems to have taken a turn for the worse, I know how hard you have tried with her.  Whatever decision you come to, I trust your judgement and know you will do what is best for her.

Will be thinking of you both this morning. :Luv2:

« Reply #1 on: July 04, 2008, 06:39:39 AM »
Amelia was put on different tablets again last week to try and sort out her tum and Sean was going to do her bloods once she had finished.  She seemed pretty quiet yesterday, or quieter than normal I should say and the weight just seems to have dropped off her  :'(  5.30 this morning, she had a really runny poo with a lot of blood in it, I think basically her insides are knackered and it wouldn't surprise me if she was going the same way as Azura.  I was really hoping I would be able to turn a corner with this little one but I'm beginning to think I'm fighting a losing battle with her  :sad no:  I'll take her in this morning and see what they say but I have a horrible feeling this is the end  :'(
