I'd be very considerate - only a few paperbacks - nothing too heavy.  I think Gail has a complete set of encyclopaedia britannica!!!!!

Yes, they do love each other, I have been really lucky like that as Alfie really didn't like the company of other cats but Frankie came from a house full of cats so I guess that he was prepared to slot right in and he likes the quiet (for quiet read lazy)  life. They have their moments, play fighting and chasing each other arround but they do enjoy each other's company and I love it when they lay down near each other like that and when Alfie licks Frankie. I think that Frankie secretly enjoys it but he won't let on to Alf.
