Thing is, when the weather is good, Jameson has no time to sleep or eat. It could be as simple as that, him just enjoying himself getting excited over outdoorsy stuff!

I'm sorry to hear about your first cat being killed by your neighbours son... if that was my kid I'd feed him to the wolves!! :( (well not literally.. but almost, I'd feed him to the piranhas  :evillaugh:)

God I'd freak if I saw a half dead pray,I'd problably be screaming so much the neighbours would be over :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

btw he doesnt go out of the garden really,he can but he doesnt and my neighbour (which is my sister) and my other neighbour wouldnt even feed him as he hates cats, infact his son killed our very first cat Modlen >:( >:(  with a katapult.  I know for a fact that he doesnt go out of the garden because I call him every 15 mins and he's always there (btw its a huge garden, more like a field really) lol

they are due their afternoon pouch in a bit so we'll see if he'll want some, yesterday he didnt,he just stayed out :innocent: :innocent:

I used to have similar worries, until I found out that my cheeky lil boy wanders to a neighbour down the road (a man who loves cats) and gets fed there!! It could be that Rameses has found a nice person down the road that gives him fusses and treats when he turns up? And of course if he is out hunting chances are he'll eat some of his prey....

Jameson has caught a mouse every day for over a week now, but he wont kill/eat them!! Today I had to rescue a mouse in shock, that looked half squished but I had a gut feeling it would survive if I removed it and put it somewhere safer. OH is having mixed emotions as he doesn't like me saving the mice so much (J catches them on our propertly) as it's better to have a mouse-free garden and he reckons Jameson is doing a good job (if only he would finish what he started!). Although I really wish he wouldnt leave them half dead on our lawn for me to cry over and then having to finish them off myself!!!

Clapton and Alice have become picky over the last couple of days. Both of them seemed like they wanted food but were rejected everything put in front of them this morning - In Clapton's case, he finally opted for the fourth choice  which was Sheba - It might have something to do with the fact that I gave them their treat last night which is Whiskas chicken in gravy from a can - it smells  but they devour it.

I assume he's shut in at night?  If he's eating a whole pouch in the morning after being inside, but he's not eating much after he's been outside, then I would guess he's getting some food when he's out - whether it be catching it himself, being fed by someone else or finding food.

well, I am not sure my cat is compatible as he is a strictly inside cat, but his usual endless appetite has somewhat diminished with the recent heat.  All he wants to do is just slobbing about on the floor, though as soon as the air-con is on he comes alive.  Is it really hot in your area too?  If so perhaps your boy is just chilling out in a breezy shade rather than pouncing about, thus less appetite...

considering he's out and about all day and pouncing about like a mad cat,he really isnt eating a lot, since he hadnt had his mid afternoon pouch (as he was outside) I just gave him a pouch now and it was whiskas tuna too,now Rammy LOVES fish but he's just licked the jelly and maybe 4 chunks (I watched him) and he went back out again,I know he catches his pray but he brings them home (unfortunately) do you think he could be eating some of what he's catching?  btw we have lots of trees around here so he could easily be catching a few birds in a day.  He's always been slender but even my sister said the other day that he was skinny but its not for the lack of trying him,btw once he's had what he wants of the pouch he doesnt go back to it,he used to be in a room overnight with food etc but lately he has had the run of the house but he's always got dry food available (where the others have) but I dunno, all he wants to do is be outside,I know I cant blame him,btw when they have their morning pouch he eats it all,its just the afternoon/late at night pouch he's iffy with :tired:
