oh dear a frog  :(

Mine have been hunting a toad and I do hope they dont catch it......it seems to have a few more brains than mice !

Sasa went for a thrush today but ran too early , thank goodness.

 I hear ya!!! When Jameson sees us indoors through the french windows, he'll park himself infront of it, meow extra loudly and put his ''meowmy don't leave me out in the cold'' face on! Although he knows very well how to use the flap!!!

Oh Bubz knows that trick too, though she will just sit there, not making a sound. ;D

Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

    what a clever girl ... bringing her mummy a special live pressie!

As for walking round to the back door ... why on earth would she do that when she knew you'd come and open the front door eventually!

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Bubz' first mouse!

You know a few weeks ago I said that she had brought me a dead holly leaf? Well this morning she brought another present - only this one was a live (and absolutely terrified) baby mouse!

I called my present PA and she got the dustpan and brush and carefully lifted the wee thing up and outside -- much to Bubz' confusion! I tried to tell her that leaves and flower petals were ok but wee creatures most definitely are not!! I dont think she got it though.

Talking about her 'not getting it' leads me to her this afternoon. I had to fax things and so went out with my PA to the library... Bubz came out of the front door with us (not terrifically usual) and me and Heather went off to do the faxing. When we got back we saw her sitting on my path, waiting for us. We said hello and then she buzzed off to Mask's, next door.

This was round 3pm. Now at a little before 5 I ambled through to natter to Heather when I thought I would just check that the reason for her non-appearence was just that she had opted to stay next door and not that the silly thing wasnt waiting for the front door to open!

Do I need to tell you what I saw .....  nah, I think you have got it already. She greeted my opened door with a very 'we are not amused' "Mee-aa" before coming inside! She knows how to get round to the back and her door - she does it a zillion times a week! But today she was almost albino she was so blonde!!

Helen - who was almost as blonde this morning so wont throw the black lead around too much. ;D
